International Statistics Competition for Engineering Students

The first International Statistics Competition for Engineering Students (ISCE) in 2014 was held as a continuation of the Indonesian National Statistics Competition series (NSCE). Universitas Katolik Parahyangan (UNPAR) Bandung have hosted the national competition for seven times since its inception in 2005. It is now the time to bring the competition internationally in order to educate global societies the need of Statistics, particularly in the area of engineering. This competition will also be held in conjunction with the second Indonesian Statistical Application Conference (ISAC) bounded by a common theme: “Energy Statistics in Sustainable Development”.
Parahyangan Catholic University (UNPAR) is a private university in Bandung, Indonesia. It is one of the oldest private universities in Indonesia, supported by Ordo Sanctae Crucis (OSC) as reflected by red and white cross in the middle of the logo. Currently Mgr. Dr. Antonius Subianto Bunyamin, OSC as bishop of Roman Catholic Diocese of Bandung is the chairman head of Foundation.
